I am a 2002 graduate of Gilmer High School and a 2006 graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a degree in Agricultural Development. I began my teaching career at Union Grove High School with the 2006 – 2007 school year. After two years at Union Grove and five years at Ore City High School, my career brought me to White Oak with the opportunity to create an Agriculture Science and FFA Program. After spending two years with Gilmer High School, I came back to White Oak. The 2023 – 2024 school year will be my 9th year here at White Oak High School

I married my beautiful wife Katy in December of 2009. We were blessed with an amazing little girl, Rylie Kate in February 2012 and a little boy, Carter Dean in March of 2015. I have a family that understands my passion for agriculture and the FFA and always supports my students in all that they do.
